About the conference

The maritime space in the State of Israel has been subject for several decades to significant geopolitical and environmental changes that have fateful effects on the economic and security future of the country. Demographic growth and rising living standards have increased pressure on sea areas for resource generation, while alongside accelerating traditional areas such as transport, shipping, fisheries and oil and gas production, new areas of activity have been added in recent years as part of energy, food, infrastructure and leisure culture development.

The conference will address the following topics:

In the first part The conference will examine the economic, environmental and security impacts of maritime space in relation to three key sectors - transport, infrastructure and energy, present the significant challenges facing us over the next three decades, and propose implementation recommendations to the governmental level.

In the second part The conference will present the best new technologies in the maritime space, alongside ambitious ventures and programs being promoted these days in the coastal space. And more about uses in Israel's coastal area.
