The Schwartz Reisman Center for Regional Science Education in the Western Negev is currently being inaugurated, where boys and girls are studying physics at the 5-unit level, and at the same time a Helmsley campus for science education is being set up.

In addition, Netivot is the trading capital of the western Negev. The city has more than four hundred businesses, which provide a solution for the residents of the city and the surrounding area, along with more than six large shopping centers that provide a shopping and entertainment experience.
