Law & Environment Conference
The first Law & Environment Conference marked half a jubilee of the development of environmental law corpus by the legislature and the courts.
The conference was led by the “Man, Nature, and Law” association and the law faculty of the Bar-Ilan University, in participation of Knesset Member Ayelet Shaked.
The Law and Environment Conference is an annual gathering of Israeli law leaders from various institutions and generations. Among the participants are Israel’s current and past top lawmakers and law professionals, including ex-ministers, retired law consultants, retired judges, and others.
The conference deals with the implications of environmental law on Israeli economy and society, examines, the main trends that characterize this law field, and discusses the significant intersections faced by those that deal with this field.
