Comedy For a Change
The International Comedy Convention
The International Comedy Convention was held in Jerusalem and dealt with humor and social change. The convention gathered comedians and television writers from all around the globe.
The goal of the convention was to showcase the power of comedy in the current media reality as a tool for promoting social change.
Throughout the convention, the comedy’s ability to receive and distribute information was emphasized, as well as its capacity to increase social awareness and motivation for solving significant problems.
As part of the convention, the “Undiplomatic Peace Conference” took place – a comedic panel in which comedians of all religions had participated, calling for the encouragement of debating politics and the “politically correct” issue.
